The first preventive action "Healthy longevity" this year will be held in the Usmansky district

The main indicators that the state and society focus on when assessing the health system are the quality of life and longevity of the country's residents. However, the life expectancy of the population and its active longevity depends not only on the effective operation of medical institutions and the quality of equipment, but also on a set of preventive measures to prevent premature mortality.

Due to the stabilization of the epidemiological situation in the territory of the Lipetsk region, the provision of planned medical care, medical examinations of the population and preventive medical examinations in the health care institutions of the region, in compliance with the necessary security measures, was resumed. The regional preventive campaign "Healthy Longevity-2020"will continue to be held in municipal districts.

On August 5, 2020, at 10: 00, the "Healthy Longevity" campaign will be held in the GUZ " Usmanskaya Central District Hospital "(p. Usman, Dostoevsky str., 29).

The main goal of the campaign is to actively prevent premature mortality of the population, including those of working age, as well as to increase the availability of specialized medical care for residents of municipal districts of the Lipetsk region.

The main difference of the campaign is that it involves medical teams staffed by the main specialists of the field of cardiology, neurology, gynecology, pulmonology, surgery, gastroenterology and other profiles, employed in the leading clinics of the region, as well as mobile diagnostic complexes (mobile clinics).

Within the framework of the campaign, it is planned to conduct an in-depth examination of patients with chronic diseases who are registered at dispensaries in district and central district hospitals, and to select patients for recovery and treatment in regional multidisciplinary hospitals and, if necessary, outside the region.

In addition, the chief specialists of the region will provide organizational and methodological assistance to doctors of district and central district medical organizations, conduct master classes, workshops on the organization of health care and improving the state of public health.

General preventive work is also planned for the population:

• the work of information and educational platforms with the distribution of printed products to promote a healthy lifestyle;
• conducting an interactive survey of residents on the knowledge of the main risk factors for the development of various diseases.

In 2019 alone, the "Healthy Longevity" campaign covered all districts of the Lipetsk region: the main freelance specialists of the regional health department examined more than 2000 patients, and for the first time diseases were detected in 132 people. As a result of the work carried out, more than 500 patients were referred for consultation to regional medical organizations, and more than 200 people were referred for hospitalization. 18 residents of the region were sent for consultation outside the region.
